For the second year in a row, the Ambit Consulting team came together to practice our value of holding ourselves to a higher standard by volunteering at Project C.U.R.E in Tempe, Arizona.
We’ve chosen Project C.U.R.E. twice now because we wanted an opportunity that would allow the number of our participants to really make an impact on an organization. This particular cause really provides much needed medical help to countries that would otherwise go without life saving supplies.
Project C.U.R.E.
Since 1987, Project C.U.R.E has been delivering life-saving medical equipment and supplies to hospitals and clinics throughout the under-resourced world.
They are the world’s largest distributor of donated medical relief—touching the lives of children and families in more than 130 countries.
Volunteer Impact
Volunteers at Project C.U.R.E (like the Ambit Consulting team) help by clearing out and sorting all of the prepackaged surgical kits that they have. Each piece in the kits has to be divided out into individual buckets (scissors go there, gauze there, syringes, etc.)
Ambit & Project C.U.R.E.
With the focused teamwork that Ambit is known for, we successfully completed the task within Project C.U.R.E’s typical 3 hour volunteer window. By providing them with additional volunteers, we significantly shortened the length of time it would normally take them to complete the project on their own.
Thanks again for having us, Project C.U.R.E! We really believe in what you’re doing for the world.
